We’re currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Analyst, Technical Production Media Production Support – TPRC

You will be responsible for providing hardware/software support and coordination efforts for Internet and Digital Services infrastructure on Radio-Canada.ca and TOU.TV. You will also provide second-line technical support for new and existing digital solutions.

You will strive to build and maintain good relationships with members of the Internet and Digital Services group and IT. You be working with state-of-the-art technology in a hard-driving workplace involving real-time online systems.

We’re looking for candidates with the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, college diploma or equivalent education and/or experience;
  • At least three years’ experience as an analyst providing first-line support;
  • Good understanding of server load balancing concept;
  • Good understanding of server-client application concept;
  • Familiarity with Web metrics/statistics;
  • Solid grasp of ASPX, PHP, XML, HTML, JavaScript and Web services;
  • Good understanding of CSS and XSL style sheets;
  • Creative problem-solving skills are required to diagnose systems issues;
  • Communication skills needed to translate vendor-provided technical documentation into internal user-friendly documentation; good written communication and project documentation skills;
  • Able to respond quickly to multiple priorities and urgent demands, in a short timeframe, in order to minimize system downtime;
  • Required to remain on call to ensure 24-7 coverage for critical systems;
  • Fluency in French;
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English.
