Your function:
- The graphic designer specializing in advertising is essentially a pictorial designer whose main role is to formulate and propose relevant visual solutions, while creating and producing static and dynamic image materials for communications and advertising purposes.
- You may be required to coordinate or oversee production activities, along with those of the various service providers working on your assigned projects.
- Assigned to French Services Communications’ Business Communications unit
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphics communication or interactive multimedia creation (design and graphic design), or relevant diploma
- Five (5) years’ experience in communications, advertising (concept, production, and brand image development), website and Web ad design, or the equivalent
- Proficient with graphic techniques and computer tools required for Web and print production (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Flash [animation], InDesign, ImageReady, or equivalent applications)
- Key assets: knowledge of Flash ActionScript, as well as video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, FinalCut)

- Able to set off content, come up with original visual signatures (creativity), translate ideas into effective Web design, and communicate well graphically
- Highly skilled at handling several projects at once within tight deadlines
- Stress management, team spirit, flexibility (open-mindedness), interpersonal relations, judgment, good communicator, client service skills
- Able to keep up with emerging trends; insatiable curiosity
- Motivated
