How the hell could Beau Levitt ride all the way to work before learning that he had been locked out? Has he no internet? Has be no ears? He seems genuinely stunned that his vote to strike actually resulted in a strike.
It’s true that this thing has pit brother against brother and all that jazz. No fun.
This fellow has a nice review of Frank’s show this morning.
And from the Globe:
“CBC locked out 5,500 employees of its main union early this morning after 11th-hour contract talks broke down last night.“
Sounds dramatic, but the truth is very little talk happened yesterday, and certainly by the 11th hour the negotiators were all in bed.

My mistake. To be honest, I didn’t know anyone was reading.
Just to clarify a point: this isn’t a strike. CMG workers are willing to do their jobs. They are locked-out of the building. By CBC management. I know it seems like semantics to some. But accuracy does still matter.
