As a communication assistant, you will be responsible for providing audiences, the public, the print and electronic media and others with documentation and written information about programs and other Corporation activities, and for performing duties pertaining to internal communications, media relations, public service announcements, audience relations and so on.

For reference purposes, this position is assigned to Communications’ Virtual Press Room for publishing TV and Web content.

Temporary position until March 27, 2011, with potential for renewal.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of experience in relation with this field;

Other:

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in French (written and spoken);
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken);
  • Good knowledge of IT and Web;
  • Able to work with the Google reader and Twitter search tools;
  • Organized, meticulous, and conscientious.

Assets:

  • Good knowledge of Radio-Canada programming;
  • Post secondary education in communication is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of social networks and the blogosphere.
  • For reference purposes, this position is assigned to Communications’ virtual press room.

Canadidates could have to write some skills tests.
