This position involves working in the CBC/Radio Canada’s Winnipeg TV Maintenance department, troubleshooting, repairing and installing TV broadcast equipment. The position is also responsible for configuring and maintaining broadcast computer systems.
What you bring:
- An overall general knowledge of the maintenance of equipment, systems and software technologies. This knowledge is usually gained through Community College graduation in an appropriate discipline, or its equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Corporate examination is required.
- At least four years of practical and relevant experience.
- Familiarity with desktop audio editing systems.
- Advanced knowledge of computer systems and networks.
- Excellent knowledge of Programming.
- Ability to work well within a team; self-motivated and a keen desire to learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong client service skills.
- Bilingual required (French and English).
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, late nights and overtime.
