Congrats to George. As an American I would say you guys seem to have alot of angst over American TV monopolization but no real frame work on how to keep Canadian audiences tuned into your network. Money does talk doesn’t it? Don’t get me wrong, I love the CBC both literally and figuratively in more ways than you oould know. But here is the bottom line: You need money.
Money to attract talent and money to keep great programming.
Yea, everbody up there says screw America but really who is screwing you? Competition or your own government? You need to get smarter than the hand that feeds you. Or else quit complaining.
