What you do:
Radio-Canada Rimouski is seeking a Regional Lineup Editor. Reporting to the Senior manager French services – Eastern Quebec, you will distribute and coordinate on a daily basis the work of TV, radio and Web reporters and camera operators assigned to regional coverage, in keeping with corporate standards are policies.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
- Five (5) years’ journalism experience or the equivalent
- Extensive general knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of current events and regional realities
- Fluent in French
- Excellent knowledge of the other official language
- In-depth knowledge of radio and television newsroom logistics
- Very good knowledge of communication techniques specific to the medium
- Knowledge of production techniques
- Knowledge of the Corporation’s Journalistic Standards and Practices
Other:
- Able to plan, organize and coordinate the day-to-day work of TV and radio journalists so as to meet tight deadlines; able to work well under pressure
- Leadership and self-sufficiency skills an asset
- Knowledge of production applications (Dalet, Media Browser, iNews) in use at CBC/Radio-Canada an asset
- Valid driver’s licence
