What you do:

  • As Production Editor, you will do final editing of programs or program segments to meet production needs.
  • During editing or packaging, you will choose material to improve the product and meet production needs.
  • You will view and digitize the material required for editing. As needed, you will provide production and technical staff with information about studio inserts, graphical layout, special effects, and final audio/video packaging.
  • You will play back and do final editing, as per the Corporation’s technical and artistic standards.

Qualifications:

  • College diploma in electronics, audiovisual production or the equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience performing related duties
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French; knowledge of English
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
  • Good judgment, self-starter

SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Theory exam: Passing grade: 60% / Weighting: 35%
  2. Practical exam: Passing grade: 60% / Weighting: 35%
  3. Interview: Passing grade: 60% / Weighting: 30%
  4. Cumulative average: 70%
