What you do:

As a reporter, you will be required to write copy, and produce reports for newscasts, news/information programs, and the Web, in keeping with corporate standards and policies.

For reference purposes :

Two (2) regular full-time positions.
The position will initially be assigned to the desk for the 9 p.m. TJ on RDI (Réseau de l’information). But the incumbents will be required to work on multiple platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent;
  • Minimum (3) three years’ journalism experience or equivalent;
  • Excellent general knowledge;
  • In-depth knowledge of current events;
  • Fluent in the working language (French);
  • Excellent knowledge of the other official language (English);
  • Knowledge of communications methods specific to the media (Web, Radio, TV), as well as interview techniques;
  • Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices;
  • Valid driver’s licence.

All candidates must include a letter of interest detailing how their experience would be an asset to us, as well as what contribution they’d like to make.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
