What you do:
As a reporter, you will be required to write copy, and produce reports for newscasts, news/information programs, and the Web, in keeping with corporate standards and policies.
For reference purposes :
- Two (2) regular full-time positions.
- One initial assignment could be in reporting or at the desk. The other will focus on meeting regional newscast needs, and will involve ongoing participation in the program C’est bien meilleur le matin.
- The position’s shift runs from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. But the incumbents will be required to work on multiple platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent;
- Minimum (3) three years’ journalism experience or equivalent;
- Excellent general knowledge;
- In-depth knowledge of current events;
- Fluent in the working language (French);
- Excellent knowledge of the other official language (English);
- Knowledge of communications methods specific to the media (Web, Radio, TV), as well as interview techniques;
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices;
- Valid driver’s licence.
