Your Role:
- Support the Corporate Manager, Financial Systems – Training and Project Management, in determining training needs and developing content for ongoing and project-related training programs.
- Help prepare SAP training programs by making available training material and ensuring that training data and user codes are available in the SAP system.
- Using the uPerform suite, oversee SAP documentation for existing systems, change requests and enhancement projects. Maintain and update the Financial Systems SAP page on iO!, including posting new documents.
- Participate in SAP enhancement projects as a super-user and suggest ways to improve processes and systems.
- If necessary, provide users with training and occasionally act as a super-user to support them.
- Update and suggest potential improvements to the Finance and Administration iO! pages.
Activities:
- Using specialized software, prepare documentation on financial system transactions to coincide with enhancements, changes and upgrades to the financial system.
- Consult with various network and Head Office stakeholders when drafting documentation.
- Manage the process and ensure that clients approve documents prior to publication.
- Keep a rolling list of documents in circulation. Prepare various documentation- and training-related reports.
- Support the Corporate Manager, Financial Systems – Training and Project Management, in identifying training needs and planning training programs.
Attend meetings related to improvement, change and upgrade projects in order to document business. - Participate in SAP improvement projects as a super-user and suggest ways to improve processes and systems.
- Maintain the Financial Systems SAP page on iO!, posting new documents and keeping SAP online help up-to-date.
- Update and suggest potential enhancements to the Finance and Administration intranet iO! pages. Perform the role of SAP trainer and super-user.
- Provide classroom training to groups and one-on-one training to employees, as needed.
- Keep up with developments in the SAP and BW systems, as well as with the latest documentation tools.
Your Profile:
- University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, or a combination of training and equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge of training practices and presentation techniques.
- Previous documentation and training experience (2-5 years).
- Good knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada and its financial and system operations and policies a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of the current SAP system functionality and financial processes.
- Working experience with databases, reporting, and integrated system documentation tools.
- Proficient with desktop computer applications.
- Knowledge of technical communication equipment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both official languages is required.
- Position requires precise written and oral skills for presentation of reports, conducting needs assessments, classroom training, etc.
- Knowledge of the uPerform suite is a definite asset.
- Ability to work with others and accept direction.
- Ability to lead and motivate.
- Ability to speak before large groups.
- Flexibility to adjust training projects as required.
- Must be a self-starter with initiative and motivation, with the ability to work on several projects at a time.
- Able to collaborate with process coordinators and respond to them in a timely and effective manner.
- Must possess tact, diplomacy and a positive attitude in dealing with a diversified client base.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities, and work under pressure to meet scheduled and unexpected deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Show initiative, leadership and exercise judgment in sensitive situations.
- Ability to forecast training and communication needs as SAP evolves.
