Reporting to the Regional Manager of Media Operations & Technology, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of support services used in the production and distribution of Local, Provincial and Network Radio and Television programs for the province of New Brunswick. Continuously appraising new production and work methods, you will develop operating practices and manage the allocation of technical and production staff, as well as equipment and budgets for the New Brunswick plants.

The successful candidate for this management position will have the following:

  • Leadership skills demonstrated in energy, commitment, work ethic, organizational and people skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of current and future broadcast technology and practices as well as the production and presentation requirements of radio and television.
  • Broad understanding of budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, asset control practices and computer systems.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in "project management".
  • Experience working with collective agreements in a unionized environment.
  • Adept at developing and maintaining relationships with union representatives.
  • Demonstrated creativity in personnel assignment, equipment selection, station operating practices and budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle a multitude of tasks and priorities, ability to exercise good judgment, work independently, demonstrate initiative and have a pro-active approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to augment an existing innovative environment that fosters and awards innovation.
