What You Do:
**Bilingualism (English and French) is essential.
This is a Full-time position, reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, the Retail Sales Clerk will be responsible for sales duties, planning and executing presentation and display of merchandise, delivering product knowledge and determining and meeting customers’ needs in a busy retail store in the Toronto Broadcasting Centre.
This includes greeting and assisting customers, processing retail purchases, reconciling purchases on a daily basis, and ensuring that the merchandise is well displayed and that stock levels in the store are maintained. In addition, the Retail Clerk will be required to describe the features and benefits of merchandise, while providing customer service and support to the public.
The Clerk will also be responsible for stocking shelves and placing orders with our internal warehouse.
What You Bring:
- At least one year of previous experience working in retail sales, merchandising and customer service.
- Knowledge of a retail environment and experience working with point of sale.
- Excellent communication skills in both official languages (French and English) is essential.
- A knowledge and familiarity with CBC programming is an asset.
- The ability and willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
Superior customer service skills. - The ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
Skilled in dealing with customer complaints. - Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
