Your Role:

  • The chosen candidate plans, organizes, coordinates and controls all administrative and operational procedures, activities and documentation for the Director and Production Executives of Factual Entertainment to ensure information and inquiries are directed and processed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
  • Provides advice on policies pertaining to operational and administrative activities.
  • Involved in administration and file management of program pitch submissions for Factual Entertainment.
  • Works directly with advanced confidential and sensitive information relating to communications, policy and regulatory matters, organizational restructuring, budget constraints, financial impacts, labor relations and communication activities.
  • Establishes and maintains effective and good working relationships with the various components reporting to the Director as well as with other senior CBC/Radio-Canada management departments and all external/outside contacts.

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset
  • 3 years of experience performing similar duties.
  • Interest and knowledge of factual entertainment programming
  • In-depth knowledge of various computer applications (Windows XP, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
  • Knowledge of GroupWise is an asset
  • Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada is an asset
