Your function:

As Scheduling Assistant, you will be responsible for establishing and coding the schedule in the Scheduling System, based on various documentation made available to you, including program and promo schedules, program cue sheets, etc. You will analyze the impacts of changes in programming (planned or otherwise) for the purpose of making the necessary re-adjustments to the system. You will also act as liaison with the various units affected by those changes.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience performing related duties.
  • Experience in the study of various documents and with data entry in multiple interfaces of a system is a significant asset.
  • You are comfortable learning new software applications (in-house systems) and assimilating technical concepts.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to solve problems that are varied in nature.
  • You enjoy performing tasks that demand precision and attention to detail.
  • You resist stress well and are able to work under pressure.

Knowledges:

  • Knowledge of the Windows environment and MS Office.
  • Very good knowledge of French (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of scheduling software an asset.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the broadcasting industry an asset.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of broadcasting, circuits and satellite transmission an asset.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
