Reporting to the Operations Manager, Western Provinces, for CBC/Radio-Canada French Services and working closely with the Manager, French Services, for Winnipeg where you will be based, you will perform the duties of Manager, Production Services French Services for Manitoba. Drawing on your experience in a similar position, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing and monitoring Radio, Television and the Web of Radio-Canada production operations for the Manitoban region. You will use your proven leadership skills to oversee and monitor human, financial and technical resources.
What You Bring:
- Solid command of TV/radio operations and production.
- Solid understanding of television and radio operations and production.
- Technical and practical knowledge of personnel management and leadership.
- Good knowledge of and hands-on experience producing TV, radio and Web programming.
- Keen interest in news and programming.
- Strong leadership skills; able to oversee news and production teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team and under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of current events and proven news judgment.
- Proficiency with computers and the Internet.
- Fluency in spoken and written French; good knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of the Corporation, its mandate and its programming.
- Good knowledge of the Manitoban region.
