The information commissioner is mistaking “unwilling” for “unable”.

“The commissioner and the broadcaster are in Federal Court, disputing access to information the CBC says is related to programming and therefore is exempt under the act.”

I doubt that information related to programming would be exempt unless there’s some secret info about a program that is a threat to national security. Like Jian Ghomeshi is an Iranian spy or that the Royal Canadian Air Farce is a REAL branch of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Gosh, what could the CBC possibly need to hide?
