Boston Pizza at the Broadcasting Centre

Boston Pizza will open a restaurant in the Broadcasting Centre with a special connection to CBC/Radio-Canada programming, based on a leasing arrangement for unused space in the building.
The new restaurant, to be located in the southwest corner on the ground floor, overlooking Front and John Streets, will showcase and promote the Hockey Night in Canada brand.

Boston Pizza ouvrira un restaurant au Centre de radiodiffusion avec un lien particulier par rapport à la programmation de CBC/Radio-Canada, en fonction d’une entente de location pour de l’espace inutilisé dans l’immeuble.
Le nouveau restaurant, qui sera situé au coin sud-ouest du rez-de-chaussée et donnera sur les rues Front et John, fera la promotion de la marque Hockey Night in Canada.

Since the CBC’s policy on Conflict of Interest and Ethics is pretty much null and void at this point, Strombo might want to get in on this and open a restaurant in the Broadcasting Centre. I have a pretty good hunch that he has family members in the restaurant business……

it might have been interesting to see Kirstine Stewart pitch this in the Dragon’s Den, but I get the feeling this was a deal done behind closed doors.
