Looks like licorice to me. I hate when people wax about the golden days, but I do miss the old guy. He was a class act.
Morningside was some of the best programming the CBC ever produced.
I would like to know how Peter would refer to the SET getting only 50% of their bonuses.
I think Gzowski is chewing on a pen or pencil.
I can’t recall seeing him (or a picture of him) smoking a pipe. Cigarettes is all — sadly, in devilish enough quantity to kill him.
A footnote: Gzowski called the last CBC president he worked for a “sonofabitch”. Wonder what he’d call today’s SET (as the “Senior Executive Team” refers to itself).
