Tod Maffin takes time out from a busy schedule of recounting, ostensibly with permission, how he hacked into a stranger’s open wifi network unsecured computer on a shared network to mention he was in Toronto for CBC meetings.

I never tire of this classic Tod bit
My vote for Most Outstanding Maffin Moment has got to be his “My Vision of the CBC’s Future”, which begins with a slideshow of pictures of Tod as a child.
The fact that living, breathing adults sat through this presentation without once screaming “WTF?!” is enough to make anyone’s jaw drop to the floor.
which incidentally, can still be “enjoyed” here – http://web.archive.org/web/20060507210516/cbcunplugged.blogware.com/blog/_archives/2005/9/30/1272274.html
Tod would only brag about returning to CBC if there were a chance it was true. My guess is maybe related to the whole news renewal crap. The sad part is that there are still a lot of people inside of CBC who don’t see Tod for the fraud that he is.
The weird thing about this article is that he doesn’t claim to do any hacking at all. He googled the guy’s name and then friended him on Facebook.
“Remember, I didn’t open a single document on David’s computer. I got all this information from a Google search and his Facebook page.”
To me, this is the definition of a “creep.” Why someone would brag about this on his blog is even creepier.
Next up, he returns to his usual blogging, ruining local businesses
