Is this a good time to be selling real estate?
Maybe the federal government would like to buy some CBC properties at “competitive” prices.
Or not.
But the curious thing is that while the CBC set itself a target of cutting costs by $171 million, the recession continues like an unstoppable glacier.
In October of last year, the figure that emerged was that of a $30 million shortfall, and management began to worry about their bonuses and staff morale (vis a vis their confidence in management).
By December it had swelled to more than $60 million, by February it was $120 million.
Doesn’t this mean that all solutions are still “a work in progress”?
