They offered me the office, offered me the shop. They said I'd better take anything they'd got. Do you wanna make tea at the CBC? Do you wanna be, do you really wanna be a cop?
What isn’t banal and boring? Even the Cramer/Stewart showdown left something to be desired.
I really, really enjoyed meeting Hannah in this video. I thought it was great, reaching out like that, and speaking so kindly and cheerfully to her audience. Almost made me want to pick up the book if only to share in her reality.
And I give her huge points for not hiding and not being afraid of the grouches.
Compare what she’s done here to even the slightest use of the internet by Strombo, and you realize what a huge gulf there is between someone who uses the opportunities in front of them to connect with an audience, and someone who gives every appearance of hiding from the cruel world behind a private Blackberry. I don’t see the confident George on Twitter. George’s idea of getting personal is to refer to himself as our boyfriend. Rarely any mention, let alone use, of the internet in his hip world. Is it possible there’s no room for social media in his head because hockey is taking up so much room?
try playing both videos at the same time. something almost exciting happens. acting lessons for hannah. or, we just chuck this value added/extra bullshit. video blogging. video blathering. who bloody cares. empty empty vapid banal boring.
