That it has to struggle for resources and airtime is difficult to understand.
We need much much more of it, not less.

lol… “liable laws?” I guess not.
An old journalist once told me that the most dangerous person in any news room is an investigative journalist. We all know our liable laws, don’t we?
I agree the fifth estate totally kicks ass. It does provide a contrast however with other CBC shows. Why is Newsworld so consistently mediocre? Why does the Hour suck eggs? Why did they cancel Avi Lewis’ On the Map? Oh if only the Fifth Estate could hold monthly workshops on how to really hustle, dig, and really get behind a story…
I like having more TV stuff online
but for god’s sake, can’t they stop embedding everything? What idiot would want to stare into a web page for an hour?
