They offered me the office, offered me the shop. They said I'd better take anything they'd got. Do you wanna make tea at the CBC? Do you wanna be, do you really wanna be a cop?
I don’t doubt that Ian means well. But I do wonder a bit of the effectiveness of the organization. They fundraise like hell and I assume they raise a decent amount of money from loyal supporters of public broadcasting. Where does it all go, other than the snazzy outfits? What are they spending it on?
Putting fun aside Ian at Friends does mean well. Although he may not get along with CBC mgnt and it’s politically influenced doings – he does mean well as is one of this country’s leading public broadcasting supporter. We need more like Friends in this country whose govt is presently selling-off its airwaves to a future of American owned pseudo Cdn TV stations. GO IAN !

Funniest thing associated with CBC in years.
All he needed was some Don Johnson-ish stubble and the 80’s tribute outfit would have been complete.
Ouch.
I should’ve gone to that CRTC hearing.
